Annual Report of the General Board on the establishment of personal Professorships and Readerships: Notice

19 November 2001

The Council have received the remarks made at the Discussion of the General Board's Annual Report on 13 November (p. 297), and have referred them to the General Board.

The Council have noted that none of the speakers opposed the recommendations of the present Report, but that three of the speakers were concerned with the procedure followed in the promotions exercise (which is currently under review). The Council are therefore submitting a Grace to the Regent House for the approval of the recommendations of the Report (Grace 1, p. 296).
