Applications are invited for a Junior Research Fellowship, tenable for two years in the first instance, from l October 2002, and renewable for a third year. The Fellow will be required to pursue research at postdoctoral level in Japanese Studies. The stipend is presently in the range of £17,451 to £26,229. The Fellow will be a member of the Governing Body of the College.

Applications are invited for a three-year Lecturership in Pure Mathematics, commencing 1 September or 1 October 2002. The Lecturer will be required to give twelve hours tutorial teaching per week in Mathematics, in collaboration with Dr N. M. J. Woodhouse, Tutor in Applied Mathematics.
