Balliol College

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN THE BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES

The College proposes to elect a Junior Research Fellow in the Biomedical Sciences for three years from 1 October 2002. The Fellow elected will be a Junior Research Fellow as defined in the College Statutes. He or she will be required to undertake research in some area of the biomedical sciences, for example, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, or neuroscience. The stipend will be £14,646 in the first year, together with superannuation, free meals, accommodation, and a research allowance.

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP IN CLASSICAL CULTURE

The College proposes to elect a Dyson Junior Research Fellow in Classical Culture for three years from 1 October 2002. The Fellow elected will be a Junior Research Fellow as defined in the College Statutes. He or she will be required to undertake research in some area of the literature, history, philosophy, archaeology, art, or linguistics of the Greek and Roman world. The stipend will be £14,646 in the first year, together with superannuation, free meals, accommodation, and a research allowance.
