A meeting of the Society will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, 12 November, in the Chemistry Laboratory, Lensfield Road, when Dr Derek Booth will give a paper, entitled The boar in our heritage. Members of the Society are welcome to bring guests, and junior members of the University are welcome at all lecture meetings.
There will be a day conference, entitled Recent archaeological work in Cambridgeshire, at the Community Centre, Fulbourn, on Saturday, 24 November. For further details, please contact Dr Booth (tel. 01223 860116).
