Examination in International Relations for the M.Phil. Degree

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 476)

With effect from 1 October 2002

The regulations have been amended in order that candidates should take a broader range of core subjects.

Regulation 1.

By amending sub-paragraphs (b) and (c) so as to read:

(b) two essays not exceeding 2,000 words in length on set topics falling within any two of the following fields, provided that not more than one topic shall be chosen from any particular field:

1. International relations theory
2. International history
3. International politics

and

(c) two further essays, each not exceeding 2,000 words in length and on set topics falling within either the field not already chosen under Regulation 1(b) and one of the following fields or any two of the following fields, provided that not more than one topic shall be chosen from any particular field:

4. International security
5. International economics
6. International law
