King's College

JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP, TWO POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE POSITIONS, AND TWO GRADUATE STUDENTSHIPS IN ART HISTORY/VISUAL CULTURE

King's College wishes to appoint a Junior Research Fellow (at Faculty level position), up to two postdoctoral Associates, and two graduate students to work in the field of Art History, with a specific interest in visual culture. The successful candidates may work in any period, but will be expected to collaborate with other scholars working in an interdisciplinary manner under the general heading of 'description'.

The successful candidates will be members of King's College and will be expected to take a full part in College life. Although these are research posts, teaching opportunities will be made available and are encouraged.

The basic salary of the Fellowship is £14,883 to £19,114 a year, according to age and academic qualification. The Fellowship may be held for up to four years from 1 October 2002. Subsidized accommodation may be available in the College.

The basic salary of the postdoctoral Associate is £15,000 a year. Subsidized accommodation may be available in the College. The postdoctoral Associate position may be held for up to two years from 1 October 2002. Candidates may apply for a Fellowship or a postdoctoral Associate position or both.

The graduate studentships (up to £1,000 research expenses a year) may be held for up to three years from 1 October 2002, and are intended for graduates who already have funding.
