The Governing Body intends to elect a Principal to come into office on 1 August 2002, or as soon as possible thereafter, to succeed The Rt Hon. Lord Windlesham, CVO, PC, D.Litt. Further particulars may be obtained from the Vice-Principal, Brasenose College, Oxford, OX1 4AJ. Anyone who might wish to be considered for the post is asked to write in confidence to the Vice-Principal, preferably by 1 November, enclosing a brief curriculum vitae, and a statement of why the candidate considers himself or herself to be suitable. The College would also be glad to receive suggestions of suitable candidates for consideration. The College's choice will not necessarily be confined to those drawn to their attention in this way.
