Girton College

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

Girton College wishes to appoint a College Lecturer and Official Fellow in English from 1 October 2002 for an initial term of five years. The Lecturer will be required to teach in small group supervisions and in seminars for twelve hours a week during academic terms, and to take a full part in the administrative aspects of College teaching in English. Applications are invited from those with teaching and research interests in one or both of the periods of 1550-1700 and 1700-1830.

The stipend, which is pensionable under the Universities Superannuation Scheme, is on a College Lecturer scale, starting at approximately £17,451. Initial placement on the scale will be determined by age and experience.
