ARTS JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

University College invites applications for a Junior Research Fellowship in the fields of History, Law, and Economics, tenable for a period of three years from 1 October 2002.

WEIR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

The College invites applications for a Weir Junior Research Fellowship in Science or Mathematics, tenable for three years from 1 October 2002.

A stipend of £14,480 (under review) will normally be paid, though at a reduced rate if the successful candidate is in receipt of other emoluments. The statutes permit the election of persons up to the age of thirty-five years, but it is normally expected that the successful candidate will be under thirty years of age. The Fellow will be entitled to accommodation in College (or a housing allowance) and the common meal. The fellow may be asked to do a limited amount of teaching for the College, for which payment will be made at capitation rates.
