King Edward VII Professor of English Literature appointed

27 June 2001

The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that Her Majesty The Queen has approved the appointment of Professor D. Trotter, B.A., Ph.D., CAI, Quain Professor of English Language and Literature, University College London, as King Edward VII Professor of English Literature from 1 October 2002 in succession to Professor Dame Gillian Beer.
