Babraham Institute

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

A Research Assistant position is available immediately to study the role of the stress-activated protein kinases, JNK and p38, in growth control and tumour progression. The project, funded by the Cancer Research Campaign, will initially use normal and tumour cell lines before progressing to studies in transgenic mice. Good molecular biology skills are essential and the position would suit someone with an interest in signal transduction and cancer. The appointment is for three years in the first instance, with funding available for a further two years.
