Announcement of lectures and seminars

The following lectures and seminars will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:

Divinity and Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities. A conference and round table on the theme of Un-thinking fundamentalism will be held on Friday, 29 June in the Faculty of Divinity. All are invited to attend the conference in the morning; the afternoon's round table will be for invited participants only. Papers will be given in the morning by Dr Nurit Stadler, of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; Dr Mariane Ferme, of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Dr Jeremy Stolow, of York University, Canada and the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Professor Arvind Rajagopal, of New York University; and Dr Sara Savage, of the Faculty of Divinity. The conference, which will begin at 9 a.m., will be chaired by Dr David Lehmann, of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, and Dr Julius Lipner, of the Faculty of Divinity. ESRC and Social and Political Sciences. A day seminar (part of the ESRC seminar series) examining the life course, entitled Theorizing across disciplines, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Thursday, 5 July, in the Beves Room, King's College.
