Emmanuel College

LECTURER IN GERMAN

Emmanuel College, in association with the Department of German, expects to be in a position to appoint a Lecturer in German for three years from 1 October 2001 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be elected into a Fellowship at Emmanuel College and will be expected to teach one hour a week for the Department in lectures or classes, and eight hours a week for the College in supervisions. Applicants should be qualified to offer instruction in German language and literature of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and in one or more of the following: German history, German thought, German cinema.

The salary will be in the range £16,775 to £18,731. Applications should be sent to Dr R. M.
