In accordance with the arrangements set out in their Notice of 29 January 2001 (p. 403), the Council give notice that they have appointed Professor Anthony Finkelstein, Professor of Software Systems Engineering at University College London, and Professor Michael Shattock, Visiting Professor at the Centre for Higher Education Studies at the Institute of Education, University of London, and formerly Registrar at the University of Warwick, to undertake a review of the implementation of CAPSA. Professor Finkelstein will report on the technical issues and Professor Shattock on issues relating to decision-making and governance.
Members of the University who wish to contribute to the review are invited to send comments on paper to CAPSA Review, 19 Trumpington Street, Cambridge, CB2 1QA, or by fax to extension 30257, or by e-mail to ucam-capsa-review@lists.cam.ac.uk before 25 June 2001, directed to Professor Finkelstein or Professor Shattock as appropriate. All comments will be acknowledged and will be treated in strict confidence. Anyone wishing to give oral evidence on either strand of the review is invited to make initial contact as above, or else by telephone to extension 34199.
