Nuffield College

FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

Nuffield College is a world-renowned research centre and postgraduate College in the centre of Oxford. It combines the attractive surroundings of an Oxford College with the most modern catering facilities. The catering mission is to provide a top class service of daily meals alongside regular dinners, private functions, and banquets which offer the best of modern classic cuisine.

The College now requires an enthusiastic professional who will motivate the front of house team and lead them through planned changes to the catering services, that include a major refurbishment of the buttery area. Reporting directly to the Bursar, the successful candidate will have good people skills and management qualifications based on several years' senior experience, experience of advanced food hygiene, and, preferably, a degree or H.N.D. and membership of the Hotel Catering and Institutional Management Association (MHCIMA). An interest in fine wine would also be an advantage.
