St John's College

The following lectures will take place in the Fisher Building, St John's College, and are open to members of the University and others who are interested.

JOHNIAN SOCIETY LECTURE

The fifteenth Johnian Society Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, 28 February. Mervyn King, Deputy Governor of the Bank of England and Honorary Fellow of the College, will give a talk, entitled The Monetary Policy Committee - a constitutional innovation?.

HINSLEY MEMORIAL LECTURE

The third Hinsley Memorial Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 6 March. Lord Healey of Riddlesden will give a talk, entitled The new world disorder. The lecture will be preceded by tea at 5.30 p.m.
