Dr C. J. Howe, of the Department of Biochemistry, will deliver a lecture, entitled Learning from mistakes: understanding the evolution of cells and medieval manuscripts, at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, 30 January, in the Pharmacology Lecture Theatre, Tennis Court Road. All who are interested are invited.
At a meeting held on 23 January, Dr T. Duke, of the Cavendish Laboratory, delivered a lecture entitled, Motor proteins: engines of creation. A vote of thanks was moved by the Society.
