WILDE LECTURERSHIP IN NATURAL AND COMPARATIVE RELIGION

Applications are invited for two Lecturerships, one to be held in the academic year beginning 1 October 2002, and the other to be held in the academic year beginning 1 October 2003. Each Lecturer is required to deliver not less than eight lectures in each academic year of tenure (candidates are asked to indicate any specific preference as regards periods of tenure) on either Natural Religion or Comparative Religion, although it is hoped that an appointment will be made in each of the two fields. The emoluments of each post will be about £4,000 a year.

Applications (eight typed copies, or one from overseas), with the names and addresses of three referees, should be sent, by 15 February 2001, to Mrs E. A. Macallister, Secretary, Wilde Lecturership, Humanities and Social Sciences Divisional Offices, University of Oxford, 34 St Giles, Oxford, OX1 3LH, from whom further particulars are available. Applicants should arrange for their referees to write to Mrs Macallister by the same date.

The University is an equal opportunities employer.
