The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude a benefaction of £6,000 from Dr Roger Morris, Fellow of Magdalene College and member of Clare College, and formerly an Assistant Director of Research in the Department of Engineering, to fund two prizes for Part III of the Final M.B. Examination, one in Medicine and the other in Surgery. The Council are submitting a Grace to the Regent House (Grace 1, p. 230) for the approval of regulations to govern the proposed prizes.
