University Combination Room: Notice

The Committee of Management of the University Combination Room wish to draw the attention of members of the Regent House to the facilities offered by the Combination Room. The Combination Room is situated in the Old Schools and is entered from Senate-House Yard through the entrance to the Cockerell Building. The Room is open from Mondays to Fridays, 10 a.m. to 5.15 p.m., except that it will be closed on Fridays outside Full Term at 2.30 p.m. The Room is not open on Saturdays.

Morning coffee is served from 10 a.m., a buffet lunch from 12.30 to 2 p.m., and afternoon tea from 3.30 to 5 p.m. Alcoholic drinks are available from 11 a.m. to 2.15 p.m.

Use of the Combination Room is available to Senior Members and retired Senior Members of the University and the Colleges; their spouses and guests are also welcome. Senior Visiting Scholars and their spouses are de facto members of the Combination Room and may use its facilities.

The Combination Room may be booked for functions and receptions outside the published opening hours. Bookings may be made through the Steward, Mrs M. Bentley, University Combination Room, The Old Schools, Cambridge, CB2 1TN (tel. 01223 332326).

Christmas and New Year closing

The Combination Room will be closed from 2.30 p.m. on Friday, 22 December 2000, until 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 2 January 2001.
