The Fitzwilliam College Foundation Lecture of 2000, entitled The Diocletian Line and the Balkans conflict, will be given by Professor Norman Pounds, M.A., Ph.D., FSA, Distinguished Professor Emeritus, Indiana University, President of the Royal Archaeological Institute, 1987-90, President of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, 1993-95, Honorary Fellow of Fitzwilliam College. The Lecture will take place at 6 p.m. on Thursday, 23 November, in the Reddaway Room, Fitzwilliam College, and is open to members of the University and others who are interested.
