Appointments Committees for the consideration of applications for promotion to the office of University Senior Lecturer with effect from 10 October 2000: Notice

The General Board have agreed that the members of Appointments Committees who are eligible to apply for promotion to the office of University Senior Lecturer should be replaced, for the meetings at which applications for promotion to University Senior Lectureship are considered, by senior academics who are not themselves eligible to apply, and that these changes in membership of the Committees should be published in the Reporter.

The categories of membership of Appointments Committees constituted in accordance with Statute D, XVII, 3, are:

(a) the Vice-Chancellor's Deputy,
(b) the Head of the Department or the Chairman of the Faculty Board, as the case may be,
(c) members appointed by the Faculty Board or comparable authority,
(d) members appointed by the General Board.
