Philosophical Society

Professor A. H. Wyllie, FRS, of the Department of Pathology, will deliver a lecture, entitled Apoptosis in carcinogenesis, at 8.30 p.m. on Monday, 23 October, in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site. All who are interested are invited.

At a meeting held on 9 October, Professor A. Howie, President, was in the Chair. Professor P. J. W. Rayner delivered the Larmor Lecture, entitled Signal processing - extracting information from imperfect measurements. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor F. Kelly, FRS.
