M.B., B.Chir. Degrees: Final M.B. Examination

NEW REGULATIONS

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 431)

With effect from 1 October 2000

The purpose of the amendment is to replace the requirement for a compulsory viva voce component in Part I of the examination with a provision for the Examiners at their discretion to examine any candidate depending on his or her performance in the written paper and the practical examination.

Regulation 13.

By amending the requirements for Part I in line 4 so as to read;

Part I, Pathology: a written paper of three hours and a practical examination. The Examiners at their discretion may examine any candidate viva voce.

REVISED REGULATIONS

In the Revised Regulations for the Final M.B. Examination, Regulation 13 above becomes Regulation 16. An amendment to this regulation has been made as set out above. The amendment will take effect according to the timetable in Revised Regulation 1.
