Clare College offers two Junior Research Fellowships, normally one in Sciences and one in Humanities, tenable for three years from 1 October 2001. Stipends are payable on a scale equivalent to the University's Assistant in Research scale. Applications are invited from men and women who are graduates of, or postgraduate students at, any university in the UK, who must be within four years of starting on full-time research in Humanities, or five years in Sciences, on 1 January 2001.

Completed application forms must be sent (in hard copy) to the Research Fellowship Secretary, Clare College, Cambridge, CB2 1TL, so as to reach her not later than 10 a.m. on Friday, 5 January 2001.
