Natural Sciences Tripos, Part IB and Part II, General

Because of the introduction of the new course in Neurobiology in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos (see above) the proposed timetabling of Plant Sciences against Chemistry A and Special Subject Chemistry in Part IB and Part II, General, announced in Reporter, 1998-99, p. 636, will no longer be possible and candidates will be unable to combine Plant Sciences with Experimental Psychology. The regulations for the Natural Sciences Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 343) have been amended, with effect from 1 October 2000, as follows:

Regulation 22(b).

By removing the subject 'Plant Sciences' from group (i) and inserting it in group (vi).

Regulation 26(g).

By inserting in group (i) the subject 'Neurobiology'.
