Bachelor of Theology for Ministry

The regulations for the examination for the degree of Bachelor of Theology for Ministry (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 401) have been amended as set out below. The purpose of these amendments is to include the submission of a portfolio of the work through which candidates engage in Pastoral Studies as a component of the Second Examination. The regulations have been amended, with effect from 1 October 2001, as follows:

Regulation 1.

By amending sub-paragraph (c) so as to read:

(c) has submitted to the Examiners a satisfactory portfolio in Pastoral Studies under the provisions of Regulations 17 and 21 for the degree.

Regulation 17.

By inserting the following as sub-paragraph (d):

(d) a Pastoral Studies portfolio;

Regulation 21.

By amending the regulation so as to read:

21. The work to be presented by the candidate in the Pastoral Studies portfolio submitted under Regulation 17(d) shall be assessed by the Examiners for the Second Examination on such evidence as the Faculty Board may from time to time prescribe. The portfolio shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Faculty Board so as to arrive not later than the division of the Easter Term.
