The following elections and appointments have been made:

Elections

Mr R. L. Hunter, Ph.D., PEM, B.A., Sydney, Reader in Greek and Latin Literature, Faculty of Classics, elected Regius Professor of Greek from 1 October 2001.

Mr B. J. Totaro. A.B., Princeton, Ph.D., California, University Lecturer in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, elected Lowndean Professor of Astronomy and Geometry from 1 April 2000.
