OXFORD NOTICES

St Hugh's College

ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATOR

This large College (560 students) wishes to appoint a full-time Academic Administrator to replace the present College Secretary, who retires on 30 September after eleven years in office. The post, which includes responsibility for three Assistant Secretaries, requires substantial organizational abilities. The College wishes to appoint a well-qualified graduate (or equivalent) with good IT skills. Experience in a university environment is essential and knowledge of the Oxford University structure will be an advantage. The appointment will be made at Grade 2 on the academic-related scale (£18,915-£24,479), with a discretionary range from £25,452 to £30,065, with a starting salary to reflect experience. It is hoped that the post-holder could begin work on 11 or 18 September 2000.

Application forms and further particulars may be obtained from the Senior Bursar's Secretary, St Hugh's College, Oxford, OX2 6LE, and should be returned to her not later than Friday, 28 April 2000. Candidates should name three referees, who will not be contacted until after short-listing (in early May). It is hoped to hold interviews at the beginning of June.

The College is an equal opportunities employer.
