Exeter College

STIPENDIARY LECTURERSHIP IN PHILOSOPHY

The College proposes to appoint a Stipendiary Lecturer in Philosophy. The position will be tenable from 1 October 2000 until 30 September 2002, or possibly 30 September 2003. The Lecturer will be required to undertake tutorial or class teaching of undergraduates up to a maximum of twelve hours a week averaged over the three terms of the academical year, to set and mark College examinations, and to participate in the admissions process. The College has a preference for applications from those able to teach either Ancient Philosophy or Philosophy of Science, but applications are welcome from people able to teach other central parts of the Oxford Philosophy syllabus.
