Faculty of English: Notice

JUDITH E. WILSON FELLOWSHIP

The Faculty of English maintains strong links with practising poets and dramatists, and each year invites applications from those working in these fields to become members of the Faculty of English as Judith E. Wilson Fellows.

The Fellowship is intended:

The term of the Fellowship is nine months (1 October 2000 - 30 June 2001). The salary for the nine-month period is £18,000, and is intended to cover accommodation costs. There may be the possibility of association with one of the Colleges of the University, and this will be discussed with the person appointed to the Fellowship.

Applicants should send eleven copies of a curriculum vitae, a brief statement of how they would like to use the Fellowship, and the names of three referees to the Secretary of the Judith E. Wilson Fund, Faculty of English, 9 West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DP, by the closing date of 31 March 2000. Copies of work should not be sent at this stage. Requests for further details may be made to the Secretary of the Fund at the above address (e-mail chgd2@cam.ac.uk).
