St Peter's College

EDDA CURRY/RICHARD III SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP

St Peter's College invites applications for the Edda Curry/Richard III Society Scholarship for the academical year 2000-01 from students who will be in their first, second, or third year of graduate studies at Oxford during that year. The Scholarship is open to research students preparing theses on British history or topics relevant to British history in the second half of the fifteenth century. The successful candidate will be expected to be or to become a member of St Peter's College. The value of the award will be £2,000 a year. It may be renewed during the period in which the student is liable for College and University fees.

Applications should be sent, with a brief curriculum vitae and a research proposal, to the College Secretary, St Peter's College, Oxford, OX1 2DL, by Friday, 17 March 2000. Candidates should ask two referees, one of whom should normally be their supervisor or prospective supervisor, to send references to the College Secretary by the same date.

TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN LAW

Applications are invited for the above post, which is tenable from 1 October 2000 in conjunction with a University Lecturership (CUF) in the Faculty of Law. The combined College and University salary will be according to age on a scale up to £38,412 at age forty-five years.
