Mr Cecil Humphery-Smith will give the 2000 Mountbatten Commemorative Lecture, on Earl Mountbatten's interest in heraldry and genealogy, at 8.45 p.m. on Thursday, 24 February, in the Thirkill Room, Clare College. All members of the University are welcome. The dress for this meeting is black tie, or equivalent. Those wishing to dine with the speaker (£6 including wine) should contact the Senior Treasurer, Dr Wright (tel. 01223 356388) by 5 p.m. on the preceding Tuesday.
