Hughes Hall

KATHLEEN HUGHES MEMORIAL LECTURE

The President and Fellows give notice that the inaugural Kathleen Hughes Memorial Lecture on Medieval Welsh History will be given by Professor David Dumville, G, Professor of Palaeography and Cultural History, on the subject of Saint David of Wales, at 5.45 p.m. on Wednesday, 1 March, in the Pavilion Room, Hughes Hall. All are welcome.

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Hughes Hall seeks as its first Development Officer an intelligent, energetic, and perceptive person with experience of fundraising, preferably in the context of higher education. The post offers substantial opportunity for someone to make his or her own reputation. The appointee will work closely with the President and Fellows of this friendly graduate and mature undergraduate College, adjacent to Fenner's Cricket Ground in central Cambridge, to establish its development operation. The starting salary will be around £20,000 a year.
