On the recommendation of the Board of Land Economy the General Board have agreed to permit Miss A. Prescott, of King's College, to offer Paper 3 in Part IB of the Land Economy Tripos in 2000, notwithstanding proviso 1 of Regulation 14 for the Tripos. Miss Prescott received incorrect advice about the examination requirements and has been preparing for this paper, although because she obtained honours in Part IA of the Natural Sciences Tripos she was not eligible to offer Paper 3. The General Board have received a plea of incuria from Miss Prescott's Tutor and Director of Studies.
