Mansfield College

TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN ENGLISH LITERATURE

Mansfield College and the University of Oxford English Faculty propose to appoint a Tutorial Fellow in English Literature for a fixed term of three years, from 1 October 2000, following the election of Dr Ros Ballaster to a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship.

The Fellow will take part in the teaching and administration of English at Mansfield College, and will be required to teach twelve hours a week within the range of English Literature, 1509-2000. The Fellow will also be required to give up to sixteen lectures in the academical year within the English Faculty, preferably on topics connected with Eighteenth-century Literature and/or Women's Studies, and to perform other duties as required. The salary will be at point eight on the RAIA scale, currently £19,197, plus USS.
