Professor S. W. Blackburn, M.A., Ph.D., CHU, Hon. LL.D., Sunderland, Edna. J. Koury Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, elected Professor of Philosophy from 1 January 2001.
