New Hall

COLLEGE LECTURESHIP AND OFFICIAL FELLOWSHIP IN FRENCH

New Hall invites applications for a College Lectureship and Official Fellowship in French, with effect from 1 October 2000. The person appointed will also hold a College Lectureship at Queens' College. The appointment is for a period of three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for a further two years. Candidates will be expected to teach in the field of post-1600 French literature. Preference may be given to candidates with interests in seventeenth- or nineteenth-century French literature. Candidates will normally be expected to have a Ph.D. Degree at the time of taking up the post. The salary will be on the national university lecturer scale, in the range £14,832 to £24,593 (age-related).
