Lucy Cavendish College and Robinson College

TWO FELLOWS AND COLLEGE LECTURERS IN SOCIAL AND POLITICAL SCIENCES

Lucy Cavendish College and Robinson College in-vite applications for two Fellowships and College Lectureships in Psychology in the Social Sciences, with effect from 1 September 2000, or as soon as possible thereafter. Lucy Cavendish College will also consider applicants in Politics. Lucy Cavendish College is for women only*; the Robinson College Fellowship and College Lectureship is open to both men and women, and is for Psychology in the Social Sciences only. The appointments will be for three years with the possibility of renewal for a further two years, and are subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the Colleges.

The stipend of the College Lecturers, which can be pensionable under the Universities Superannuation Scheme, will be at a point on a scale beginning at £17,238 (equivalent to the University Assistant Lecturer scale), depending on age and experience.

Further details of both posts and application forms can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Senior Tutor, Robinson College, Cambridge, CB3 9AN (or by e-mail from ejl24@cam.ac.uk), to whom application forms (eight copies) should be sent no later than 18 February 2000.

Applications from women in Psychology in the Social Sciences will be considered by both Colleges; applications by women in Politics will be considered by Lucy Cavendish College. Applications by men (Psychology in the Social Sciences) will be considered by Robinson College.

* By the Employment Act, 1989, the College has exemption from the provisions of the Sex Discrimination Act, 1975.
