Natural Sciences Tripos, Part III, Biochemistry

The regulation for the subject Biochemistry in Part III of the Natural Sciences Tripos has been amended as set out below. The purpose of this amendment is to bring forward the date of submission of reports of research projects in order to allow sufficient time for the reports to be evaluated. The regulations for the Natural Sciences Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 355) have been amended, with immediate effect, as follows. The Faculty Board of Biology are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination in 1999 is adversely affected by these amendments.

Regulation 35.

In the paragraph relating to Biochemistry, by amending the first sentence in sub-paragraph (b) so as to read:

(b) Each candidate shall submit to the Examiners, not later than the ninth day of the Full Easter Term in which the examination is to be held, a report of a research project of not more than 8,000 words (excluding footnotes and bibliography).
