FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN MATHEMATICS

Applications are invited for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Mathematics, with effect from 1 October 2000. Preference may be given to candidates who are able to teach Pure Mathematics, but applications from those with research and teaching interests in other branches of the subject will also be welcome.

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN GERMAN

Applications are invited for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in German, with effect from 1 October 2000. Candidates should have research interests in a period of German literature, post 1750.

FELLOWSHIP AND COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN ENGLISH

Applications are invited for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in English, with effect from 1 October 2000, Candidates should have research interests in a period of English Literature before 1830, and a willingness to teach broadly beyond their specialism.

In each case, the appointment is for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for a further two years. The pensionable stipend will be on the University Assistant Lecturer scale, currently £16,286 to £22,579.
