Music in the Fitzwilliam Museum

An evening concert by Fanny Waterman, the co-founder of the Leeds Piano Competition and Ben Frith, her pupil and internationally-renowned pianist, will be given at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday, 18 November. The concert, in aid of the Fitzwilliam Museum Piano Appeal, will include music by Chopin, Bach, and Liszt. To book tickets (£50, including buffet reception), contact 01223 332939.

A promenade concert by the youth choir, Cantate, conducted by Jan Eke, will be given at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, 13 November, in Gallery III. Admission to this concert is free.
