AWARDS BY OTHER UNIVERSITIES

Hartley Institute, University of Southampton

VISITING FELLOWSHIPS, 2000-01

Applications are invited from scholars in any field in the humanities and social sciences for Fellowships for programmes of research focused on the collections of the University of Southampton Library. The holdings include the Wellington, Palmerston, and Mountbatten papers, the Parkes Library (relations between the Jewish and other peoples, Anglo-Jewish archive material), extensive official publications, and a growing collection of historic recordings of Western orchestral music.

Fellowships will be available both on a non-stipendiary basis and for periods of up to six months, attracting subventions of up to £1,000 a month.

Intending applicants are invited to write for a prospectus and further particulars.
