MRC Research Professor in Epidemiology: Notice

The General Board, on the recommendation of their Advisory Committee on the appointment of unestablished staff at senior levels, have agreed to appoint Professor N. E. Day, HH, B.A., Oxford, Ph.D., Aberdeen, Professor of Public Health, Head of the Department of Community Medicine and Director of the Institute of Public Health, as MRC Research Professor in Epidemiology from 1 October 1999 for five years.
