A meeting of the Society will be held at 4.45 p.m. on Thursday, 21 October, in the Chetwynd Room, A Staircase, Ground Floor, King's College. Dr Richard Steadman-Jones, of the University of Sheffield, will give a talk, entitled The self and the other in colonial grammars of the Romantic period. Tea will be served from 4.30 p.m.
