Examination in Theology for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course): Notice

The Degree Committee for the Faculty of Divinity give notice that they have amended their notice of the subjects for exercises under Regulation 1(d) (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 458) for the examination to be held in 2000 (Reporter, 1998-99, p. 776). The form of examination of Subjects K and L have been amended as set out below. The Faculty Board are satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination is adversely affected by these changes.

(a) Subjects to be examined by means of a three-hour written paper

Subject L: Textual criticism of the New Testament

(b) Subjects to be examined by means of a essay or other written submission of not more than 4,000 words in length

Subject K: Archaeology
