Lucy Cavendish College

SUTASOMA RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Applications for a Research Fellowship tenable at Lucy Cavendish College are invited from women* who have a doctorate in an Arts subject, or whose doctoral dissertation in the Arts is under examination. The stipend will be up to the value of £15,000 a year. The successful candidate will be appointed for a period of three years, subject to submission of an annual report and satisfactory progress. Research Fellows become members of the College, and are expected to reside in Cambridge and participate fully in College life. They may teach up to six hours a week.

The application form, together with a curriculum vitae, a statement of the proposed research, and any other available funding, should be returned to the President's Secretary by 5 November 1999. Eight copies of all papers should be submitted. Applicants should arrange for two academic references to reach the President's Secretary by the closing date.

Interviews will be held on 19 November 1999. The starting date, which will be in 2000, will be agreed with the successful candidate. Candidates who are presently overseas should note that the College cannot meet travel expenses outside the UK.
