In Table 3 the three highest A-level grades in all subjects, excluding General Studies, are used for scoring purposes. The A-level scoring scheme adopted here assigns to each A-level grade a score as follows: A = 10, B = 8, C = 6, D = 4, E = 2. 1,358 Cambridge applicants took AS examinations which were included in 61 conditional offers.
