COMPUTER ASSOCIATE, GRADE III/IV

Applications are invited for the post of Computer Associate, Grade III/IV, to provide user support for academic and administrative staff and students. This is a challenging post in a rapidly-expanding Institute. Working as part of a small, closely-knit team, the successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and will be able to relate to a very diverse group of users. Candidates should have knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Windows NT, and be familiar with e-mail and the Internet. Experience of Access would be desirable. The appointment will be for one year in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal for a further period or periods.

The scales of stipends are as follows: Grade III, £18,275 a year, rising by six annual increments to £23,651; Grade IV, £15,735 a year, rising by three annual increments to £18,275.
