The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that he has accepted with gratitude offers from two sets of chambers in London to provide prizes in subjects of the Law Tripos. An annual donation of £750 has been offered by Falcon Chambers, to fund a prize in Land Law. An annual donation of £500 has been offered by 3 Verulam Buildings, to fund two prizes, one in Equity and one in Banking Law; the donors will in addition give £250 to the library of each prizewinner's College for the purchase of law books.
The Council are submitting Graces to the Regent House (Graces 4 and 5, p. 799) for the approval of regulations to govern these Prizes.
